Robin Day Hillestak Desk for Hille

Beautiful Hillestak desk designed by iconic British industrial designer Robin Day in 1950 for Hille. This early example has a beech ‘A’ frame which supports 2 floating drawers with cherry veneer fronts and a cherry top.

The item has been refinished and is generally in very good condition with the odd sign of wear and tear and a couple of cosmetic repairs. The drawer housing has been reveneered in beech to match the frame and desk also has a repair to the top of the ‘A’ frame joint on the right hand side.
