Very unusual compact industrial style desk believed to be designed by the Scottish architect Robert Matthews with black painted steel frame, teak drawers and a plywood top veneered in Douglas fir. The drawers are shallower than the average desk with removable dividers in the bottom 2 drawers.

The wood has been refinished and the item is generally in good condition with some signs of wear and tear.
