Mid Century Cherry and Teak Cabinet, 1960s
£1,195
This one of a kind Scandinavian influenced cabinet was made by a University Lecturer who was also a keen cabinet maker. The piece has been beautifully made using solid cherry and teak and features lots of lovely detail including the dovetail joints on the corner of the carcass and mortise and tenon wedge joints on the legs. It has four cherry drawers with carved out handles on one side and a cupboard with fixed shelf on the other with a solid cherry shelf below. The doors are made of planked cherry with recessed brass handles.
The item has been refinished and is generally in very good condition with the odd sign of wear.
