Teak pepper mill and salt pot designed by Jens Quistgaard, a Danish sculptor and industrial designer, in the late 1950s for Dansk Designs. This is model 822 which is an hour glass shape with the pepper grinder at the bottom and salt dispenser at top which can be refilled by removing the wooden peg.  It has an Italian metal mechanism and is imprinted with ‘DANSK DESIGNS DENMARK’  on the bottom.

The item is in generally good condition with some signs of wear and tear including a couple of small splits to the upper waist part. Grinder works but has not been tested.
