1950s Slatted Bench by Robin Day for Hille

Designed by Robin Day for Hille and first exhibited at the 1954 Milan Triennale as part of the Interplan range. The Slatted Bench is of a simple construction having solid mahogany slats on forged metal legs and was intended as a multi functional piece that could be used as bench, coffee table or as a base for Interplan storage units.
The item has been refinished and is generally in excellent condition with the odd sign of wear and tear.
