1950s Rosewood & Mahogany Desk by Christopher Heal

Rare and unusual twin pedestal desk with a floating top designed by Christopher Heal in 1956/57 for Heals. The drawer fronts, top and back are veneered in rosewood with contrasting mahogany frame and details including a curved bevelled edge to the top.

The item has been refinished and is generally in good condition with some signs of wear and tear including a few marks to the top and pedestal frame.
