1950s Meredew Bentwood Sideboard
Rare and unusual Meredew sideboard dating from the mid 1950s designed by Alphons Loebenstein. Made of beech veneered plywood that has been steam bent to give it curved corners and sculptural handles. This also features on the inside with 2 teak veneered curved drawer bases and shelves. The legs are made of turned solid beech and it has an attractive teak veneered back.
The item has been refinished and is generally in very good condition with the odd sign of wear and tear. There has also been some staining to the inside left shelf and drawer but this is not visible from the outside.
